Recreational Projects
Liberty Engineering’s staff is experienced in the planning and execution of projects that enhance recreational opportunities. Past projects completed by its engineers include:
 | MWR Marina Master Plan, Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, VA |
Provided project management, structural and civil engineering for a phased master plan to repair, enlarge and modernize existing small boat marina. Existing piers, bulkheads, boat ramps, boat channels, buildings and fueling facilities were evaluated. Established environmental permit requirements for new dredging and construction. Prepared cost estimates for several phases of construction to comply with funding constraints and continuos operation of the facility.

Designed supports and foundations for static display of three fighter aircraft in a parade ground and park setting.
| Family Campground Facilities, Bethel, VA |
Prepared structural design documents for campground facility including shower building and administration building. Design analysis, drawings, specifications, cost estimates and material submittal registers were prepared.
| Pool Repairs , Langley Air Force Base, Hampton, VA |
Provided project management and structural design for renovation and modernization of three pools. Two pools were provided with aluminum liners. One pool was repaired using shotcrete techniques. Each project included concrete deck repairs, lighting improvements, renovation of filter systems. Interior pool was provided with new ventilation and humidity control system.
